    First time out to the beach with my new XPDeus 2, Great machine and extremely light.

    Well, finally got to the beach and the first Hunt with my new XP- DEUS 2, vey impressed !!!

    Went out early this morning to catch that first low tide. What a light machine and performed like a charm.     Just Arrived, my new Deus 2. Can’t wait to hit the beach.

    Well finally got my new Deus 2 and running through the programs, not to keen about the head phone sounds, too squeaky. Also wow, EMI does play havoc on the machine if your in the wrong area, even after making all the adjustments, some better than others depending on factory default programs...

    Went out yesterday and today to a few tot lots and a park . Did not use XP Deus 11 to find these but ordered one and should be here tomorrow, hope my finds in the future are as good if not better with the Deus.

    Deep Targets at the beach.

    When at the beach, don’t trust your VDI”s on deep targets regardless what metal detector you have. The #s will jump around until you dig your target. You could be missing something nice. Your detector struggles to identify those real deep targets. Just a FYI.

    Short hunt on a very cold day, too cold and had to leave

    Short hunt to a local tot lot, could not make it for more than about 30 min.

    Short cold hunt. After doing some test beds in my back yard, found out that deep targets will not give you true VDI #s. If on the beach using the new 1.17 update, dig all your signals in the wet. I think that all detectors will do that.
