    15x12 SEF is it waterproof?

    I have one of these coils and love it. But I've not read anywhere on the box, or some of the sites that sell it, if it is definatly waterproof or not. Could someone confirm whether it is or not? Thanks

    E-trac Channels.....Whats the difference??

    What is the difference between the different channels on the e-trac? In another post, another member mentioned that the explorer has a better chance of finding gold in channels 1 to 3. So I'm just interested to see which channels on the E-trac, in a hypothetical interference free world, would...

    Re-tracing my steps :ausflag:

    Went to an old historical site in the area, lots of iron. I went over this site with the Pro Coil when I first got my e-trac (day 1) and found nothing, i think mostly due to lack of experience on the e-trac. Thought I'd go back over it now I have some experience and a smaller coil (Coiltek Joey...

    On the River at Easter:ausflag:

    Went up to the parent's shack at on the River Murray for the long weekend. Found the normal junk plus a 1/2 an ice cream container full of sinkers. Also a dope pipe, some 9mm bullets, 1c & 2c pieces and 10c & 20c and a legacy badge. But my best finds where a 1900 Six Pence and a 1898 Penny...

    Pattern for Aussie coins :ausflag:

    Hi, Here is a simple pattern for all the Aussie E-trac owners to play with. This pattern is made by large cursor accepting all current circulating coins plus 1c and 2c pieces. Also the following Australian pre-decimals: -

    E-trac has a wobble....does yours?

    Since the first time I put my E-trac together it has had a wobble. Where you joint the main rod/stem into the upper stem just behind the control box is where the wobble is at. It goes all the way in and the clamp shut, but it still wobbles slightly in the up/down direction (as looking at the...

    Hi All, I'm very interested in getting an ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning coins and keen to hear from those that use one. I've read the past posts and didn't really find enough solid information on how they perform to make a decision. What are your experiences with ultrasonic cleaners, would...

    E-trac lied to me...I'm stuffed:ausflag::confused:

    I went to an old school site and had about an hour, the soil is hard and dry so I didn't want to dig more than 4". I turned my sensitivity down to Auto -3 and off I went. First target I hit was clear and repeatable with good FE-CO numbers, a little bit too wide in pinpoint to be a coin, but I...
