The Separation from iron targets on the Manticore is amazing!!

I located this tiny target last week. which is an old stile striker for a Zippo lighter. It is two tiny brass gears attached to a steel cylinder in the middle. The Manticore was able to pick this up at 4 inches! Nothing can hide. (The background is the ridges on a paper towel)

Working in the water at a Beach with rocky bottom

All, I hunt beaches in Switzerland and the water bottom is always rocky. I purchased a hookah system last fall and I'm going to put in to use in the spring. The nice thing about rocky bottoms is that the items don't go very far, and often times are on the surface. The problem is when...

    Aluminum Nazi Crown Cap

Every so often I hit a Aluminum crown cap here in Europe.. You can see the one has a Nazi swastika in the middle of the eagle. It is from a well-known bottled water company in Germany that still sells water.

Great to have my Manticore back

I was using my Nox 800 backup while waiting for a repair part. Went back to the Manticore and the performance difference is clearly evident. I was using my Nox 6" coil and the 5x8 coil for th Malticore. It is really amazing how the Manticore picks up small pieces that the Nox misses. I...

    Kudos to Minelab U.S. Service

Really happy with ML service. My upper shaft on my Manticore snapped in two and I call them up. The guy on the phone said no problem, didn't have to send/sho/do anything and they immediately sent me a replacement. I got it in less than a week. Good Job Mine Lab!. That is the way to do...

Manticore is super sensitive- 3 different Percussion caps

Minelab launches new U.S. website with direct sales- Dealers gotta be unhappy

I received an email this morning with the launch of their direct sales US website. Not sure why they would move to undermine their dealer network like that. The site (https://usa.minelab.com/) has a blog (not finds as of yet) and sells accessories. You need to set up an account to access the...

Just bought a hookah set- Any recommendations from experienced users?

I pulled the trigger on a hookah set AquaRobo. I'm looking at using it in a Swiss lake at 3-15 feet. The bottom is rocky with minimum sediment, and the coins and jewelry get stuck between the rocks, so a scoop is useless. I'm a certified diver.

Manticore 5x8 coil is HOT on low conductors

Got out on a lake beach in Europe and deliberately went over an area I hunted recently. Wow, I was finding tiny split shit lead weights at 5 inches, and the low conductor small Swiss coins (smaller than a dime at 10. If there was gold here I would have found it. Amazed on the depth of this...
