    Which coil

    The 10 x 12 SEF coil I have on my etrac has given up. Looking for a replacement to deal with a new site that has very little mineralisation. Was thinking of a larger coil. Foot note: Using the Anfibio on the site there's no bars showing on mineral indicator, and sometimes won't even ground balance.

    Nokta anfibio multi battery

    Is there any reason why I can't run a rechargeable battery pack into the charger port on the Anfibio. Surely it's only the same as the add on 4AA pack Nokta make? Reason being the machines inbuilt battery isn't hold it's charge for long.

    Legend coils

    My new Legend will be here tomorrow, just having a browse around the Internet and came across the "Detech Ultimate" 13" coil for the Legend. Now this coil was on most of my Minelabs as I found them excellent. Very little info on them being used on Legend though. Anyone had one?.

    Sovereign Elite coil

    Just picked up a cheap Elite, all working order but Tornado coil cable coating is practically non existent. Knew this before I bought it, any recommendations for replacement coil, will only be used on my clean sites.

    Test beds

    Have just moved house and can finally find a patch of the garden to put in a test bed. At my last house I used a manual post hole borer with a 6" wide auger, when it settled down it served me well for over 16 years. Have any of you just used a quicker method of poking a hole in the ground...

    Land owner stopped whilst I was getting gear out of car, questioned my sanity, parentage, religion etc then drove off laughing, deep ploughed after crop failure, hard going but ran coil down trench caused by plough, got too places not normally hitable due too depth.     More UK civil war finds

    Went back to where there was supposedly a civil war skirmish, found whats possibly a lead ingot (is lead) more musket balls than shown, and best bit of all is the lead remains from a mold, can even see bevelled edges where pistol/musket balls have been cut off.
