    A response at another forum brings up a new question for me to try and find an answer for. If I plan on using a detector only in south Florida and its all sand east coast to west coast then can anyone suggest the best model for use in sand?     question on MHz and kHz (please help)

According to what I'm reading when using a frequency of 1.5 kHz on the Minelab the signal travels to max depth and 100 kHz is more sensitive for close to ground objects.
