    Found this at an old fair grounds in se. Wisconsin. Thought it was a fat indian, but I was wrong. 8 inches deep and my fifth gold find this year. 14K chain with 1867 3 dollar gold attached.

    Please help identify....

    I found this buckle looking thing sat. at an old park. It is made of brass and heavy for its size. The quarter is only to show the size. it also was found at the same park. any help would be appreciated. Jim P.:wiggle:

    First day out in 2007 at the little park east of home.

    The very first signal that I dug was the large one yen piece. It was so deep it almost did not show on the depth bar. Still it is .900 fine even if it is foriegn. The last coin that I found before my battery quit was the 1841 seated dime. Not bad for this time of year in northern Illinois. Good...

    Sunday's hunt gave me # 400 for silver.

    Did not have a lot of time Sunday but I really wanted to get to 400. The 1902O dime was # 400. I changed jobs earlier in the year so I work 6 days a week instead of just 4.     Another afternoon at the park east of home.

    Nice bunch of silver today.5 merc dimes, 3 barber dimes, 4 Indian heads a 39 washington quarter and 2 seated dimes.1842O and an 1887. Also found 37 clad quarters, 12 clad dimes, 10 memorial pennies and 29 wheat cents. Not bad for 6 hours. The little clip is also sterling. I have no idea what era...

    Three trips to a favorite spot east of home.

    I just learned how to make pics small enough to post. This is from 3 trips out. total 16 hours of hunting. Although I like the half, the 1876 cc quarter was the most memorable.

    this is what dreams are made of.

    I thought that the 1877 indian i found in south central wis. was as good as it gets but when this came up from 8 inches of black Illinois dirt I almost stoped breathing.
