    Here's maybe a crazy question, especially to all the old timers like me who've scanned the ground while detecting......

    do you still make it a habit to keep your head facing to the ground even while in the grocery store parking lot, or school parking lot or home depot etc., etc. etc..... I can't tell you how many quarters, dimes and even a few dollar bills I've picked up floating around and lying on the ground...

    WELL; maybe there are a couple variations of the same contraption. ?? I'm certainly not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. Carrying a 5 +pound scoop around a beach is not my idea of fun, and I'm sure this belt attachment will truly do the trick. I've been pass VA beach at least 25...

    well the best description I can make is it's made out of aluminum, in the shape of a pare about 6 inches long. 2 slots on top where a belt would thread thru, and a j-hook welded to the aluminum piece...     OPT.. truthfully, the last 5-7 yrs down there haven't been good at all... Way back when, the good ol'e days, whatever you want to call it, 20-30 bucks in change was the norm. Now 2 bucks and your king of the hill.

    I hope you do run into him Felix.. ask him about the hook he used on his belt. We used to converse back and forth many yrs ago, but haven't since the other forum disbanded some time ago. Mention Mark from ( ohio ), maybe he'd remember me ?

    Felix.. for sure, Hard pack is what u look for, that way the gold is within the reach of the signal.............................. But your right, if its not there, its crickets all day long.
