    GOODBYE FINDMALL FOREVER

I was banned from classifieds forever for listing 2 detectors in 8 mos & selling one. David Keith also blew up to Guvner about my imaginary dealership, then Guvner blew up at me. also, I was threatened for some of my posts on views forum. I will still be around to help others on the other...

    GOODBYE FINDMALL FOREVER

I was banned from the classifieds because i listed 2 detectors in 8 mos & siold 1. david keith (David @ Dixie) complained to guvner about my imaginary dealership, then guvner complained to me. also, I was threatened for disagreeing with others on the views forum. Sorry I won't do business with...

Do you think my T2 is defective?

When I use disc mode, if I use preset disc of 10 & preset sensitivity of 60, it makes noise continuously. When I turned disc up to 40, it was unable to get my 6" deep test dime, which my XL Pro & Coinstrike heard easily, though at least it was stable. If I turned the disc above 60, there was...

Coinstrike visual ID same for 6" deep nickel & dime

They both jump mid to upper 20s, just perfect for the clad dime. But why does it think the nickel is a penny or dime? I must ask is it misadjusted by me? If so, why does the clad dime ID correctly? Is it a defect of the detector that only applies to nickels? Is it possible they intentionally...

    XL Pro GEB DISC problem

I didn't ground balance properly, so I didn't get the beeps, but I ground balanced it the hard way so I got same tone on ground & in air. What I am wondering is if I did anything else wrong. When I tried GEB disc, my 6" deep dime & 6" deep nickel both IDed as dollar (& MAX disc wouldn't reject...

A detector that makes you look for gold

Hi, I got a Seben Extreme detector from Germany. It can reject anything except nickels, pulltabs & most gold. I thought I was going to use it for coinshooting, but without a modification to reject pulltabs, I don't think so. But 1 ring could pay for this detector as it's well under $200. And for...

    X-Terra 50 ID bounces

How do you tell when to dig? I planted a copper penny 4 1/2" deep & it bounced as low as -3 with drops into pulltab region common. Tried a couple of my other detectors & bounces were less extreme. Daniel Tn also reported these big bounces & wondering if the rest of you get them? Just trying to...

    Garrett Ace 250 $170 shipped!

Great condition except there is a 1/2" long x 1/16" wide split in the foam rubber (?) hand grip. There is paint wear on the top of the lower rod, but that goes inside the upper rod where you won't see it. Also has the coil cover which still looks real nice. Includes the original box as well...

Does your T-2 work much better in all metal?

Seems to be the case with mine. In the manual they say 12" air test on small coin & IDs most items correctly in most ground to 8". When I did the air test, small coin high tone consistent to 5"-6", variable tones 7"-9", nothing beyond that. So I assumed my detector must be defective. Think I did...

    Minelab X-Terra 50 $415 shipped!

Save nearly $200 from new on this almost new detector! Includes 4 AA Energizers, nearly new. The only obvious scratches are on the (included) coil cover! Has nearly the same depth as the $798.95 X-Terra 70. Please somebody buy this. It's well worth it, but eight detectors is too many! Includes...

    Last 2 1/2 hour outing with T2

I got $1.48, actually $1.49 with one zinc tossed into trash. Included 5 nickels! I used 3b & swept with coil 1" above ground. All coins 0"-2" deep, but 0 bottlecaps! The interference from electrical noise wasn't so bad (back at the same school/park) & used sens 70-80 over most of the area...

    Today's 2 hour T-2 test

I went to the nearby school/park I've detectected a few hundred times to see if I missed anything. Got 91 cents, all within 1" of the surface except 1 clad dime @ 4". The sensitivity was turned up to about 65-70 then , I think. It would not seem to pinpoint in the dirt pile til I reduced the...

    Is my T2 defective?

In the air test it says in the manual it will get 10" on a small coin, & it says it will get consistent ID in most soils to 8"+. It doesn't say at what sensitivity. In my air test, a small coin gave consistent tone ID to 6" & was detected to 8" with varying tones, & not detected beyond 8"...

How does the frequency shift work?

I was adjusting the ground balance manually & I saw F6 & F7 flash briefly. Are these frequency adjustments supposed to be manual or automatic? Don't know if I did something to make F6 & F7 appear or if it was automatic? The 30 page instruction manual I have doesn't even mention the frequency...
