    Last 2 1/2 hour outing with T2

    Is my T2 defective?

    In the air test it says in the manual it will get 10" on a small coin, & it says it will get consistent ID in most soils to 8"+. It doesn't say at what sensitivity. In my air test, a small coin gave consistent tone ID to 6" & was detected to 8" with varying tones, & not detected beyond 8"...

    How does the frequency shift work?

    I was adjusting the ground balance manually & I saw F6 & F7 flash briefly. Are these frequency adjustments supposed to be manual or automatic? Don't know if I did something to make F6 & F7 appear or if it was automatic? The 30 page instruction manual I have doesn't even mention the frequency...
