    If I could not turn off unit with on/off on keypad , I would remove battery pack for a few minutes, Install a charged or fressh AA battery pack , and all should be well.

    I think you MAY have an intermittant In the coil or connector. If not a bad coil connection , MAYBE Iron near the target /coil. Please let us know.

    Broken Coil Tabs

    Hello I have an explorer 2 with the 1000 and a 1050 coil. The coil "ears" , / tabs on coil that attach to the lower rod have Cracked /Broken off. Glue does not seem to work . Any Ideas or fixes for this? Can I fix the coil or somehow attach broken coil to rod ? Thanks.

    The Data was based on measurements made with Defective Headphones. My Defective wireless Headphones were Replaced with a New Set. My New Headphones, Now, with the same rechargeable cells is Now working after 10 hours, or 2 days of hunting. To nw1886 - Some factors...

    How is the headphones doing, still only 2-4 hours on them with the 2700ma. cells? Mine still power down in 2-3 hours with plenty of capacity left on the cells.

    I wasted allot of time trying to analyze defective head phones. My headphones do NOT work with nicads or Nimh. Tried the NiMh I use to power my V for 20 hours and they don't work either in the headphones. Defective Headphones. Defective V3 when I purchased it . Whats Next?

    As simple as I can explain;- ALL times, voltages, parameters are Approximates, due to ALL the variables involved, settings condition of batteries ,component values , chargers etc.... Head phones need approx 2 . 6 to 3 . 2 volts to operate properly , which is what AA alkaline batteries...
