    Falsing issue

    Did you hold the coil in the air, about waist high and pull the trigger (pinpointing) to see if you were getting any motor boating or was it nice and sold and steady. ( EMI test )

    I had or have that same problem at times and notice if I use Loctrak instead of the Autotrak function it clears the pinpointing problem and make sure you keep a good Ground balance also. Try, it might work for you also.

    Yep, the V3i is a great machine :thumbup: and I'm pretty confident on knowing if it's can slaw now but the only way to be sure when in doughty is dig. I'll dig the 99 questionable targets to get that 1 good one, and a boat load of clad to keep me interested.
