    99% of all the items on the web site have been claimed as treasure trove or under the treasure trove system at the moment mores the pity as both gold finger rings are of a wearable size . the gold and sapphire is about 22mm across and the loop design gold ring is 20mm across

    the field was ploughed the last couple of years and one of the crops was potatoes (tatties over here) which means the field was deep ploughed maybe as deep as 12 to 14 inches and also destoned . i like fields that have had tatties in them as there is a good chance of somethings being brought up...
