    LiPo ???

    Anyone make a lipo battery pack for the 3030 yet? I have all the stuff for the gt. I have no use for it I was thinking of trying to cram it in the 3030 alkaline pack. I don't know if that would fit I don't have it all in front of me. Anyone who has done it or wants to that has any input...

    Anyone ever try Li-FeS2 batteries for the GT?

    I usually use alkaline AA batteries. I was looking at rechargeable ones, which only come in 1.2 v or 1.65v [diff chem]. This puts rechargeable ones out of the equation for now. The Li-FeS2 is at 1.5 v but from what I read is a bit stronger and they are not rechargeable. Just curious if anyone...

    Hit local new england beach today...

    Thought the day was going to be a bust. Not to many signals at all despite the last two storms. Maybe 15 total. First decent find was an old buffalo nickel. Second decent find was a 1954 quarter. Quarter was completely encrusted. Found junk toe ring, not shown. Saw about 5 other hunters...

    kepping sand out of coil cover on excal II

    So I emptied the coil cover of sand for the first time over the weekend. I noticed how delicate that coil looked on the bottom. Is there any way to keep the sand out permanently? I heard truck bed liner works or something. Anyway. HH. -Joe
