    First Nugget with the 800

    Finally had a chance to try my 800 in gold prospecting here in Colorado. Found this little Nugget in a tailings pile. Was using Gold 1, sensitivity 22 and factory settings for the rest. It showed up on the TDI as "2" [attachment 369244 SmallNuggett.JPG]

    HF Coil settings for Santa Barbara Beaches

    Have a chance to hit the beaches for a few days in and around the Santa Barbara area. Have the new HF Concentric coil but this will be the first time using it on a beach. Any suggestions for settings?? Thanks.

    Garrett Sea Hunter Mark II Question

    Haven't used my Sea Hunter for over a year so put in new batteries and it beeped three times to let me know the batteries were good but then it started beeping constantly until I turned it off. Checked all cables/fittings and they seem good. Any thoughts before I contact the factory? Thanks.

    Has anyone used their Deus in seeded/competition hunts? If so, any recommended settings? Was also wondering if it would "chatter" in close proximity to 30 or 40 other detectorists using a variety of Detectors?
