    Cloth cover for M6

Have just purchased a new M6 (of course I didn't know about the new machine 5) and since I'll be using it on the beach, I was wondering if anyone custom makes a cover for it ? Bob G.

    Monte & Tom S.

Many thanks for your input/advice. FYI I'll be listing my Omega for sale shortly. Nothing wrong with it, it just doesn't like beach salt/sand. Bob G.

    COINMASTER GT INFO NEEDED

Would like any input from CM GT users. I'm considering it over a Garrett AT Pro. I've heard that it has a salt/beach circuit and improved ground tracking ? Can you CM GT users tell me why I should buy this machine, your experience with depth, target ID, etc.? Appreciate your input. Thanks, Bob G.

    Monte's Industry overview

Thoroughly enjoyed Monte's industry overview. I no longer have any Tesoros but have had my fair share of them. To this I'd have to say: The Golden Umax was a good one but not deep. Tesoro missed the boat on the Cortez - terrible display. I now use a Tek Omega - very functional and good price...

SE Pro Noise Cancelling problem ?

Firstly, my SE Pro is only 1 yr old. My problem (maybe) is when I try to noise cancel I have to press the button several times before it works. Also, when it does work there is nothing on the display, only the "musical audio" before it give me a final beep that it is done. Appreciate your help.

How to reacquire ML default discrim pattern ?

Haven't found any thing in the manual about reloading the MLab DEFAULT disc. pattern maybe sometime after using an S1 or S2, etc. for example.

    Help for SE Pro user

Firstly, I'm not a newbie. In fact, I had no problem programming the Whites XLT which had some constants that you almost had to be an audio engineer to understand. Here's my problem I have just purchased an SE Pro which has me scared and completely unsure of myself. Hopefully, some of you can...

    SE Pro vs SE ?

I feel an idiot asking the following BUT: How does one tell the difference between an EX SE Pro versus a EX SE ? I only ask this question because I'm a recent owner of an SE Pro (I think). My machine has "Explorer SE" printed on the handle. Wouldn't an SE Pro have "Explorer SE Pro" printed on it...

    Tech questions

Trying wrap my head around two ML technical areas: # 1 What are the differences between the SE and the SE Pro ? # 2 If Minelab says it is NOT measuring conductivity and ferrousity, then HOW do they determine a target ID ? Thanks, maybe I'll be able to sleep tonight. Bob

    MDing and Back Problems

Many of us out there at older ages have back problems. The one I have, and common, is sciatica - monster pain. Any way the last time I was out Mding I made the dumb mistake of bending over to pick up a target. Next thing I know is that I'm flat on my back sucking Ibuprofen. What I didn't do was...

    Explorer II SOUNDS

I could use a little advice re my Exp II. As I'm up there in age my hearing has dissipated some. I prefer sharp, tight sounds as opposed to muddled ones. For example, I love the sharp treble like sounds of the Fishers and Tesoros. My question: Is there any way I can get my Exp.II to have similar...

    Cibola depth

Seriously considering a Cibola. It appears very similar to the Vaquero except ground bal is built in. From you Cibola users I'd like to have your feedback on its depth. FL doesn't have mineral. where I live so it wouldn't make sense to buy the Vaq. I read one review who complained about its...

    High KHZ for gold detection

Since way back when I seem to recall that higher khz machines do better on gold jewelry. The Omega 8 is a 7.9 khz machine which is, great on coins, wouldn't be the best choice for gold jewelry hunting. What say you guys ? As an unrelated question: can one run Omegas with lithium batteries ? Thanks
