    Hi I have a 1225X that needed service just got a call from Felix at Fisher said it needs a coil $ 145.00 is it worth putting that kind of money it ? I never got a chance to use the detector Paid $145.00 for it off of ebay are these detectors any good ? Thanks for any replies in advance Jim

    First Texas returned my B H 505 today Corrective action was taken Replaced coil, and recalibrate inspected and tested your unit is now in good working condition :buds:

    Hi been looking at coils for my 505 # 1 4" gold nugget / # 2 4" magnum is there a difference or just a way to get more $$$$$$$$$$$ I see the price is $ 20.00 difference :usaflag:

    505 coil false readings

    well today I called 1ST Texas about my 505 to see what they found out, I was told it was the search coil giving all the false readings So it's on the way back to me with a new coil I hope it's fixed now :clapping: so I can get in on the action:detecting:

    :bounty:I know this is a Bounty Hunter forum so I would like to know if you ever used a 505 & did you like it ? If not which Bounty Hunter do you think does a better job. I am an owner of the 505 less than a year and it's in for a check-up already.
