    Is this even possible?

    I'm new to maps/mapping and using a GPS, so please bear with me.... Here's what I'd like to be able to do: I'd like to go out with my metal detector and record some coordinates of search locations....then, I'd like a software program that will allow me to load some digital copies of topo maps...

    SPECTRUM SERIES ???

    I'm in the market for a detector & have been eyeing the White's Spectrum series. Can someone give me the quick "down 'n dirty" differences among the SPECTRUM DFX, SPECTRUM XLT and the EAGLE SPECTRUM? I can't seem to find a comparison chart/article. Thanks, Butch

    Settings for F70 on East Coast beaches??

    I finally got to the beach with my newly-acquired F70.....Its quite different from my old CZ70, but I started out using the default Program 1 settings to get used to the response, etc. I did manage to find a few clads the first time out, but really don't have a lot of confidence in the default...

    Lithium Ion Rechargeables.........

    Any reports of problems out there using these rechargeable batteries in the F70/F75 detectors? The voltage is typically 1.2VDC instead of 1.5VDC for the coppertops, etc.....just wondering how that would affect performance?? Also battery life on a single charge?? Thanks, Butch
