    15 khz detectors?

    Nearly all the manufacturers build a 15 kHz detector. It made me wonder if they all basically have the same performance if they have the same size coil? ( depth, target separation, sweep speed). Thanks

    TRX or dx1 for v3i.

    If you have multiple detectors I would go with the TRX. The DX-1 is dedicated to one machine. I looked really hard at them myself. I decided to stay with my old pro pointer. I am going to use the money to buy a smaller coil.

    I am considering buying a V3i. I was just wondering if the battery housing gets In the way when swinging it? Can you take it off and put it in a pack? Would doing so affect the warranty?
