    i don't no what this is

    I found this lead thing at a civil war camp site.has the same eagle that is on the back of an 1850s quarter i found next to it.i cant find any thing like it and i am not shure on its value.if anybody has any info let me no thanks

    new York belt plate

    I dug this recently it is my first civil war belt plate. I know its a 1840 to 1850 new York belt plate but haven't been able to find out much about what they are worth. Any help would be great thanks.
