Have to start digging those zinc pennies?

I guess it depends on the location. Tot lot I'm probably not digging zinc signals. On a older site or in the woods I'm digging everything. The YT digger in Vermont just posted a video of him and a buddy pulling a full 8 reale and it rang up 89 on the d2. Which is crazy because it is a huge...

None. Apparently it's a bug in 2.0 update that hasn't been addressed yet when using the built-in PP.

    Deus2: Unmasking & Deep Programs

I can vouch it has done me very well on ground I've already covered with older mid level machines. I'm running the 9" coil. So far though, the deepest dime I pulled was 7"-8" max and a very iffy signal. So I'm not sure it's a deep program but I'm more than happy with the results.

    v2.0 Pinpoint volumn help.

I dont have headphones. Bought the RC unit for the external speaker. BBH, fortunately for me, sells d2 options that don't include the headphones at a reduced price.

    v2.0 Pinpoint volumn help.

Well crap. I'm not a headphones guy so boo hiss. Hopefully it gets taken care of sooner than later.

    v2.0 Pinpoint volumn help.

Loving this d2 RC. Just unreal. And the learning curve hasn't been terrible. I bought the machine from BigBoys new and pre updated to 2.0. I'm having trouble with the Pinpoint feature and I haven't gotten a direct answer anywhere. Is the super low volume on the pinpoint a bug associated...

Is there a way or is this a bug, the pinpoint feature has very low volume. I didn't see a way to fix/address this in the Manuel. Anyone have experience with this?

Had off this week so was able to mess around a little. The old farm. Found a 1800's seated dime and a few wheats. Colonial homestead: Only had 1.5hrs to work. Found 1 merc, a few wheats. This place I have been pounding for over 10 years with f70 and n600 and multiple coils/single...

    I am torn,,,, your thoughts?

I owned my n600 for a few years and hunted to death a few spots, one of which was a 1700's church that was cleaned out before I got to it accept a small Trac along an iron fence. After finding a Reale, and few silvers and wheats, I decided to hit it after obtaining a 6" ML coil and found a...

Lol. It's not like raining gold coins. I was blessed to find one. A 1853 half sauv at a 1700's church with my n600..Rang up a solid 13 which is in the nickle range with that machine. But, I'd be a fool to think there may not be more out there. The farm I talk of, I have heard one of the other...

Interesting. That seems to be a popular sentiment amongst forum and FB hunters. Unfortunately, my honey holes range from colonial farm, to busy colonial town centers, to wooded homesteads with miles of rock wall. Are there any downsides to reverting to .71? Missing coins on edge or otherwise...

    D2 noob program recommendations.

Had to cut my last post short due to work so I dint get to finish my thoughts. I'm a hunt by ear guy. So I'll learn the audio on this machine pretty quickly, although, after experimenting with a couple factory programs, DeepHC and Fast, I'm not crazy about them having two different tonal...

    D2 noob program recommendations.

So far, learning how to navigate the settings has been more challenging than learning what the machine is telling me audio wise. I darn near mastered the n600, but that was pretty simple and less customizable than this d2 by a long shot. The other challenge is learning the language XP uses on...

Hey all. I'm new to the D2 but have been swinging for over 10 years now with nox 600 and Fisher f70/f2 before that. My new D2 is expected Friday. I work 55hr weeks and my weekends are packed with honey-do lists and my daughters activities so me-time and especially detecting have been a rare...

The art of plug cutting a thing of the past??

The TikTok guys are even worse... Huge holes. Not even a square or circle cut. At a public park out in the open. Kick the dirt back, one stomp. Don't even pin point the target just dig a whole, miss, open the sides, miss more till its a complete mess. I swear they are only in it for the...

    10X5 EMI Issues

I have the 31" Lesche digger. I have found that if it is too close to the Nox when swinging (I carry it left handed and swing right) that on the end of my forward swing I have lost signals that are blatantly obvious such as a shallow quarter. I came across this accidentally one day and was like...

Minelab Equinox 800 - Civil War Relic Hunting - Finding What the other Detectors Missed

One thing I learned from REVIER and NCToad if you visit multiple forums, is that guys who spend alot of time in the field have multiple detectors. They all see things the others don't. That said. My Nox 600 has slayed since day one sites I thought I hunted out with my old f70 and absolutely...

Your Equinox silver count for the year?

Quarters and dimes add up pretty well in a calendar year. You can easily buy an ounce or two of silver, maybe a gram or 1/10 Oz coin of gold if you clad hard enough.

Your Equinox silver count for the year?

Your Equinox silver count for the year?

37 Silvers. Best year yet. Where i am there is very little virgin ground left. But. And a big but... I found my first gold in 10 years of detecting this year and it was a doozy. 1853 Half Sovereign. Rang in as a nickle. 6" deep.
