    Finally finished the back yard grand slam!

    It took almost a month, and i also collected half a five gallon pail full of iron scrap to complete it, but i got the full canadian coin set out of my back yard. The house site used to be an open field until 1980, so not much time for accumulation. The spread of years i found is pretty even over...

    My front yard has a high trash to treasure ratio, thanks ATX.

    Well i finally did it !!! after 4" of chopping solid ice and dirt i found some treasure, a 1996 canadian toonie. For those of you who are not in the know, that was the first year the Toonie was issued in Canada. I am pretty impressed it sank 4" in the front yard in 18 years, oh boy do i feel old...
