Show some of your best dug coin finds.

Some of the nicer silver i found when i had a Nox. Oldest is dating back to the 1100's

What are your beliefs about metal detector? Old Tech VS New?

Not an uneducated guess, just facts. I guess pointing out your foolish belief that lower khz is best for coins has embarrassed you some, so i apologise for that.

What are your beliefs about metal detector? Old Tech VS New?

I think this shows your inexperience, by regurgitating what you have been told is true in reference to khz instead of educating yourself of the facts. It isn't a fact that low khz is better for coins.

    Detector wars??

Reading between the lines form from Nok/Mak i personally don't think the Legend will have Nox performance, I'd bet it's Apex level. The Deus has never been as deep or as good at ID at depth as the Nox, but if they can match it with the Deus 2 then different game. In the UK the Deus was a...

    The Legend is here!

In my opinion, if during testing it was found to be a better performer than a Nox, then you can be 100% confident that's how it would have been marketed during the presentation, but it wasn't.

    The Legend is here!

ML has the majority share of the multi freq market, if this Nokta detector isn't substantially better than a Nox then it's not going to gain much of the market.

What are your beliefs about metal detector? Old Tech VS New?

It's a lovely piece Cal. I've had the same conversation many times, folk regurgitating the same 2nd hand info regards khz, remember, all these old self appointed "guru's" were shooting fish in a barrel back in the 70's, with lots of virgin ground and bucket loads of silver. Different game...

What are your beliefs about metal detector? Old Tech VS New?

Modern milled high conductor coinage such as in the US is pretty easy found by old of modern detectors. 800+yr old very small low conductor coins in "iron laden" soil are a different story, and the onset of multi freq detectors running higher freqs is defo an advantage over older fixed low freq...

Truthfully, the difference in most detectors

Because not every silver coin is a high conductor, most of the one's i dig are between 5-13 on the Nox and there more responsive to higher freqs. Infact if i was to use a low freq like 3 or 4khz, I'd quite possibly not even pick some of them up.

Truthfully, the difference in most detectors

Don't get hung up on low frequency for deep silver, that's incorrect and misleading.

    NOKTA MAKRO SMF LIVE LAUNCH

Had interest, XP dropped the Deus 11, now no interest lol

    15" Coiltek coil first hunt.

Yes there's not much in it to be honest. You have to consider if the extra weight and cost is worth it over the ML15" coil. On larger relics it's a better coil.

    15" Coiltek coil first hunt.

Yes, lots of jumpy ID's at depth, but where i am we don't use ID numbers, if it's no 100% iron we dig it.

    Thoughts on Garrett Apex

Sorry to contradict, but the Apex hasn't a huge following in the UK, it's quite the opposite.

15" coiltek on it's all way.

The Coiltek 15 ears are thinner that the ML15 and have less material around the bolt hole.

15" coiltek on it's all way.

It has depth over the 11", about the same as the ML15" in my soil on coins.

Vanquish 540, Simple ,and Apex depth shootout! Who is King??

It's been knowledge for some time of the freqs used in each mode in the Equinox, and it does indeed use 40khz (39khz if i remember right) in multi field 2.
