    Why all the 800 hate?

    I own the 800 and like it for beach hunting. Even tho I haven't hunted that much with it, I like the weight. I still own a CXT 3030 and like it but was too heavy for me to be out all day with it.     I would like to know if anyone is using this unit to detect with? I am hard of hearing in one ear so I seem to have to pay big bucks for head phones that will give me the option to adjust for this. Is there any good reports out there?
