    Found this at a site giving up War of 1812 relics. At first I thought it to be a fishing float but does not nearly floating. It is all non ferrous and also when dug I thought I had a musket ball. I cannot see any markings on the top I can read. Is this a button?

    Any idea what this is?

    Have no idea on this one, found in an area we found two rosettes and buttons from war of 1812. It is 4” in length, and made of brass with a thin liner inside running the length. Both tabs have a hole to pin it to something. There is a V stamped on bottom side in two places and no other markings...

    Old Slide Buckle

    Went back in the woods today where we have been finding numerous items from many years. I found this heavy made buckle with great patina and in beautiful condition. Can anyone help date this buckle? It is 2 1/4 X 1 1/2 inches, and heavy brass with green patina. This area has plantation items...

    Civil War Militia plate

    Found a great belt plate relic hunting with a friend. The condition is awesome and great patina and is complete. This is by far my best relic.
