    Thanks for the heads up - it didn't even cross my mind but they do appear compatible and essentially the same except Impact shaft has a cutout for the cord to pass through.

    Going to go for it. Everything checks out in my opinion. Will post pictures of the result. The mid shaft (alum) will need a grommet, and lower shaft can be smoothed out to prevent any chaffing. May be able to get it done this weekend.

    This may be a dumb idea, but has anyone considered drilling a hole in the lower shaft and mid shaft to pass the coil cable through on Anfibio?     Older 11" coil

    I have a V5 with a couple of LF coils so should be fine. Seems like the ORX is the only one not backwards compatible and that's a real shame because to me the LF coils are practically the same for my purposes and can be picked up relatively cheaply i.e. not $300+

    Sounds like a good way to go, that or the 13x11. Vanquish is also around the same price range though.

    This seems so easy to use and I like how they did the disc and iron volume controls. It's nice being able to differentiate easily on a beep and dig machine.
