    Equinox Skid Plate

    The Nox coils are not like the Garrett's Iron Clad coils. Light weight coils are not durable without a coil cover. An alterative would be to use Gorilla Tape to protect the bottom of the coil.

    Nox acting real erratic

    Have you tried switching to a single frequency ? Switch and do reset, noise cancel and lower your sensitivity. if none of that works check your coil for cracks since you are not using a search coil cover. Good Luck
