Thanks 🙏 I have since purchased a Nexus standard MP V2 and it’s outstanding , really enjoying using it

    Well life rolls on

I got my first proper detector over 30 years ago, I'm 45 this year so not that ancient 😁, the machine was a Fisher 1265X and I still have it in near mint condition, I found so much great stuff with it. I took a long hiatus from detecting because life got in the way, I didn't keep up with...

    WM08 and ML80 question?

The WM08 is faultless, I use it all the time, good battery life and no latency that I've ever experienced

XP Deus II vs Equinox - 5 Reasons Why I Like The XP Deus II

Hmm that creaks louder than my F19 shaft and that's saying something

Never listen to the other guys opinion…..

Jim I'm with you 100% on that, to be honest I'm more interested in the iffy signals than the obvious ones

    Only took six years,,,

    Congratulations !! a great find

Never listen to the other guys opinion…..

I don't think areas are really ever hunted out, especially when a lot of others just dig on the VDI numbers, I get it with carp fishing all the time, "they don't take off the surface on this water mate" and you end up catching loads of fish using that method, there's so many variations in...

    New detector

Hmmm sounds like a dodgy coil to me, you mentioned the threshold, the Equinox range has a 'reference' threshold only, the true threshold is in the gold modes

    Problems with Deus II

I agree with you there, all the machines you list are awesome, I love my F19 to bits, sometimes you can get so wrapped up in wanting the best that you don't enjoy what you've got, it's an easy trap to fall in, there are so many good machines out there

    Nexus MK2 Metal Detector

Hi Guys I hope this is the right section of the forum to post this. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Nexus MK2 or any Nexus machine, they seem to have very impressive depth but I can't really find a great deal of information on them. Thanks

    Problems with Deus II

I'm looking forward to seeing the Deus 2 in the hands of the users, be interesting to see the videos, I'm sure it's going to be fantastic, I'm trying to ignore the hype, the Nokta machine is released later this month so it's an exciting time for all us detectorists, I'm sure Minelab are working...

    Is It Wishful Thinking?

Yup I totally agree with you, I love my 800 so much, it has lots of little idiosyncratic features you need to learn, especially on deep targets nearing the edge of detection, I didn't get introduced to the Equinox through the marketing hype, I came back into the pass time after a 30 year hiatus...

    Is It Wishful Thinking?

No you can only use it as a single frequency

    Is It Wishful Thinking?

Hi Everyone With two companies launching their own "SMF" machines this month, is it wishful thinking to hope that Minelab might bring out an update for the Equinox series? I'd personally like to see the 4KHZ frequency added into the 'multi' setting, I'll be intrigued to see if either of the new...

How Deep Do We Have To Really Go

Hi Jeff I'm lucky enough to have a number of large permissions here in the UK and none of the ground has been detected before so obviously there's lots of shallow targets, I've found lots of deep stuff as well. I've found many targets among the trash and I agree with you, separation is key. I...
