Old tag, any ideas on the symbol?

I thought that too but its not quite the same. And Google Lens didn't bring up anything either.

    Nox 600

600 is a great machine, especially with the 10x5 coil. I've had a ton of good finds from park to beach with mine. Still have it as a loaner/backup behind the Manticore. But for the right price I would pick one up definitely.

Found a Chapel Sterling Silver Religious Pendant

Thanks! Starting to understand the Manticore better. Been digging less trash and more good signals last two hunts.

Found a Chapel Sterling Silver Religious Pendant

First silver with the Manticore! Found using ATG and 9" coil. And the rest of the finds for the day.

Old corroded ring stamped with 18K

I found this ring in the middle of the woods near an old stone foundation. Rang up 80-90s on the Manticore. My dad swore it was just a piece of copper pipe until I found a stamp on it. Which makes even less sense. Debated cleaning it up more but wanted to find out some more info if possible.

    Manticore loves iron

Welp, I guess I will find out first hand now. Said I wouldn't get one, but I found a Manticore posted local for $875 that looked brand new. Stopped on my way home from work and snagged it. Literally looks brand new. Not much time to test it yet besides my preliminary yard run, but it seems...

    Manticore loves iron

I had the same issue with the 900. Upgraded from the 600 and was digging more iron than I ever did. Sounded good from multiple angles, no iron grunts. Dig it and then swing again when its out and I get obvious iron sounds from it. Figured it was just the angle of the item but it kept happening...

    Virginia Beach 2025

Thanks everyone. It's my once a year beach trip too, otherwise I am slinging coins and silver jewelry from the parks in PA. The holes are a lot easier to dig in sand so I try to take advantage of it. And out of all my finds in dirt, I've only dug up gold once. Just a small gold earring. Hard to...

    Virginia Beach 2025

Hi everyone. First post here on the forums. Just had a weeklong vacation in Virginia Beach. Got to spend a few hours a day detecting in the dry, wet, low and high tides. Ended up with over $10 in coins, three pieces of silver, and two pieces of 14k gold. Using a Minelab Equinox 600 with a...
