    what coil to get

    It has good separation plus good coverage. I use the 6 x 10 most of the time in trashy area's. In extremely trashy area's either of the small coils are good. I personally like the 4 X 6 for tot lots and really trashy area's. Steve

    New e trac user

    I finally bought and E trac about 2 months ago. I have to say it is the best decision I have made as far as detectors go. I hardly ever found silver before and now I find silver almost everytime I go out. This is one awesome detector.

    I am having trouble with a lot of false signals. I have toned done the RX gain and sensitivity and am still getting some false signals. Are you saying to turn off autotrac and turn on traclock and then reground balance? Thanks Steve

    Go to your 6 menu box and click on audio and check the box that says tone ID. This will give you a different tone for each VDI #.

    Why Would You Need The Smaller Coil?

    I have the 6 I have the 6 x 10 and the 4 x 6. The 4 x 6 is fantastic for real trashy areas and the 6 x 10 is on my DFX or MXT 90% of the time. Can't wait for those 2 to come out for the Vision
