Took Steve to an old house site that had been torn down but the yard was still intact. I had already been over the site once but I knew there were still some coins left. Steve came away with one wheat and some other pocket change. I found a clad nickel and penny and this large silver cuff link. Whatever stone was set in it has long disappeared. I don't have a scale but its safe to say its as heavy or heavier than a quarter. .925 made in Mexico.
 
If we had a category for the most unusual find, I think you would be a contender with that cuff link Andrew. :biggrin: I bet a chunk of turquoise would have looked nice in there........ :shrug:
 
That's a quite unusual find. Yes, I bet there use to be a turquoise in it also since it being made in Mexico. Good hunt! HH, Nancy
