09-29-08 Wood's Field Hunt

Went back to old faithful today (Wood's Field in Solvay, NY), and found the most coins I have ever found so far I believe....Just short of $3.00...$2.98...Also found some interesting baubles I have no clue what they are...I do not know what metal the rose doodad is...chrome I think, the wings appear to be silver or silver plate, and were attached to a larger object. I can see where they broke off...

8 Quarters (1966, 1966P, 1973, 1983P, 1991P, 2002D Louisiana, 2002P Louisiana, 2007P Washington - 5 Dimes (1982P, 1983P, 1985P, 1991P, 1995P) - 6 Nickels (1964, 1969, 1975, 1989P, 1990P, 1993P, 2002P) - 14 Cents (1944 Wheat, 1975D, 1977, 1977, 1980, 1982, 1982, 1983, 1987, 1990, 1994, 1999, 2000D, 200 - 1 Silver??? Wing, 1 unknown rose doodad

Any info on the wings or the rose thing is appreciated...

Good hunt GoGoGopher! The machine seems to be working for you great. Haven't been able to hunt myself for a while and won't for some time. Got a darn leg infection layed me up for a long time. Not aloud to even think about kneeling. Maybe I could recruit some diggers and all I'll do is swing!

No doubt, don't get me wrong, love getting to see all your guys and girls finds, but just not the same if your not getting that dirt under your nails. But does give me some extra research time for when I can start to swing again.
