1 silver - 1 gold wannabe

Got out early to beat the heat and dug about 65 coins. Got two rings also.

The left one is not stamped but looked very much like silver so I put a drop of acid tester on it. You can see the jet black mark inside the band. It doesn't wash off so it's silver.
The other ring is stamped gold - - - electroplate :(.

Very Nice! I like them...and a ring is a ring..very tuff to find on land..Joe/Obn

Nice finds even though the one isn't gold but still a pretty ring! Congrats, Steve, on getting out in the heat! Supposed to have a cool wave come through and be cooler here in my area! Will wait upon the Lord and see what He does! Been listening to a program on beautiful songs sung for the Lord coming out of Northern AZ, where they say there are rainbow trout to catch! God Bless! Betty www.carrollRoberson.com

I have dug 17 gold rings and 8 silver rings. One would think the numbers would be the opposite, but no complaints here :) steve in so az

Well, Steve, you are being blessed of the Lord, for you live in an area where people wear and lose some really nice jewelry and not all areas are privileged to have such nice finds to dig up by detectorists! Praise God from Whom all blessings flow! Though you did have to go and work for them and they weren't thrown in your hand by God! The same as each of us need to do and not expect others to take care of or provide for us, for idle hands and laziness is the devil's workshop! We do what we can and then let God do the rest! Amen! God Bless! Betty
