Heavy dew, tall grass, = F75 LTD with 11dd coil, b p mode, sen 85, disc 4, 3H tones and g b 67, netted me a 44s Merc, 2 and possibly 3 wheat cents, and some clad and other pieces. Ground is in a little better digging shape, but not by much. Need a bunch of rain and some lesser temps. HH jim tn

Nice hunt Jim. It has been so long since I have seen a merc come from under my coil.
I just checked last years log and I am 22 hunts down because of the Hot weather. I had 89 hunts last year at this time, this year I am at 67 hunts.
Be careful out there and have fun.......Z

Thanks Z. This particular spot give up Mercuries at least 2 to 1 over Rosies. Never has a Barber, though. I suspect my hunts are on par with previous years, but since early summer, hours per hunt are down by 1/3 and some days 1/2 and more. You be careful as well and as we both know, fun is what its all about. HH jim tn

So how many silvers does that make this year alone?
