10 1/2 explorer coil:thumbup:

A friend traded coils with me and gave me a 10 1/2 in explorer coil. After using my 10x5 coil and switching over to this coil I don't think it's going to come off from now on. This coil is just fantastic on depth and separation. I can see now why they are a hard coil to find. Now all I need is the 8 inch. Is there any one else who uses this coil?

Could you post a pic of this coil?

I've gone from my stock 11x10" to SEF 6x8" and now back to stock 11x10".

I'm always testing and searching for ways to gain more depth... so so important.

I'm a little confused when you say 11 1/2 and then 11x5. So is the size 11x5?

Thank you

It's a concentric coil and 10 and a 1/2 inches wide. This is what they mean by saying that. You can see one by looking for a Minelab FBS 1000 or an 8 inch 800 coils. They fit all Explorer, Safari and Etrac machines that are FBS
