Last weekend was my first real chance to compare my C$ against an experienced Explorer user. The 8" coil heard everything the Explorers 10" heard. My new C$ 10.5 coil is on the way, what can I expect in depth over the 8". I don't have any problems pin pointing with the 8", how well does the 10.5 pin point? Will I have to change settings from the 8" settings?

You'll notice a little extra weight, and you may need a better shovel <img src="/metal/html/grin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":grin"> Pinpoints good!

pinpointing may take a little while to get usted to, as you don't have that open hole to view the ground. Settings can pretty much remain the same. I don't wanna spell out how many extra inches are possible, but I have noticed weaker objects become more pronounced with the 10.5 coils. Plus, analyzing like 6X more soil sorta makes the extra weight seem worth it.....HH, Bill
