10.5 inch coil

Been thinking of getting one, but proably should spend more time on it with the smaller coil to get used to it first right? How much extra depth /coverage can I expect. Wheres the cheapest place to pick one up, thanks!!

Waited until I got about 30 hours on my C$ until
I used mine last Saturday. Was quite impressed
how it hit 6-8" deep coins hard, very hard.
Asked how to pinpoint here last week and that
worked so well that I actually hit my first 5"
deep quarter. Tried not to do that again. Only
got out for 3 hours but I can honestly say that
I really like it. Had one target that gave me just
an idea of what it could do. Got this strong
repeatable signal and down around 8" or so I get
this key...the key was not flat but vertical. I
know because I pulled it from the hole. That sure
wasn't much metal for the C$ to hit but it nailed
it big time. More than once it got coins that had
2 or 3 pieces of iron nearby. Mighty fine for a
10 1/2" coil I must say. Mighty fine. For hunting
sports fields, like I do, I believe it's a winner
for sure. It gets the coverage plus extra depth
with great sensitivity.

You should really become more comfortable with the Coinstrike & it's stock 8" coil first. Once you feel confident & really understand the unit better, then it might be a nice addition for ground coverage & depth. HH, Bill
