10-Minute Hunt...Sidewalk Tearout!

I was driving around town today and noticed city workers doing some utility work, saw them jackhammering the sidewalk! It was a small section that had been dug up today and in some areas down to a foot or so. Returned early in the evening with a 4kHz Reactivty 3 Full Tone program - looking to get some quick targets to show themselves. Popped 5 coins in about 10 minutes, and the second one turned out to be a 1900 Barber quarter! It was so corroded and didn't sound like a silver coin at all, but I remember detecting a Franklin half dollar last year and SKIPPING it because it sounded like a screwcap. My partner detected the same target and won the day!

From the look of things it looks like more sidewalk is coming up soon, so there will be more I'm sure!

First the Barber half, now a Barber quarter...I guess you need to pop a Barber dollar next time?

Nice recovery...
