$1000 COIN!

Goldstrike

Well-known member
DETECTED THIS COIN IN A LOCAL PARK AND GOT EXCITED:clapping: WHEN I SAW A GOLD-ISH COLOR TO IT AND NOT THE USUAL SILVER COLOR........BUT KNEW IT COULD NOT BE GOLD BECAUSE OF THE SOLID 37 ON THE DISPLAY AND A HIGH TONE AS WELL!!! EVEN THOUGH IT SAY'S $1000 IT'S ONLY WORTH $1:cry:......AH WELL...I KNOW THE GOLD IS OUT THERE SOMEWHERE AND I'M GONNA KEEP SWINGING!!!!!

Man that will get your heart pumping!!! Good thing you were prepared for it knowing it was a 37. Do they make that coin anymore?
Thanks for sharing Goldstrike!
Bunker

1000 pesos is still 83.00 US

I WISH IT WAS WORTH $83 IDAHO! I I WENT ON LINE AND FOUND OUT THAT IN 1992 THE MONEY WAS DEVALUED AND $1000 IN OLD PESOS BECAME THE EQUIVALENT VALUE OF $.10 U.S. CENTS...SOUNDS LIKE A RAW DEAL!!!
ANYWAY IT'S NOT OLD ENOUGH TO BE OF ANY NUMISMATIC VALUE AND IT'S WORTH LESS THAN A DOLLAR....AH WELL, IT WAS FUN TO DETECT AND DIG!!
BUNKER, I'M NOT SURE IF THEY STILL MINT THIS COIN BUT I'LL ASK AROUND!
