Had a little rain over night and in the forecast for the weekend, but upon checking the hourly forecast it looked like I had a 3 hour hunting window so since my wife had some errands to run, I headed out for the woods. I had the F 75 LTD and put on the 6 1/2" coil since I was going to re-hunt some area's close to where I park thinking I could poke it under and around bushes better then the larger coil. One of the first targets I dug was the Leon Laraine eye shadow case with brush and mascara still inside. Under one bush I got 2 wheat cents and from another, a wheatie and the 37 Merc. The latter 2 targets were a couple of feet apart, though. Along the way I got a couple of zincers, part of a Cadillac ornament, another wheat cent and the SAVE YOUR DIMES, The sure toad to your first $1000, lock. I didn't know what it was at the time, but there was no big target (metal box) nearby. Merry Christmas! HH jim tn

You sure dont miss much!...look at that .22 case, man, thats a small target.
Good Work in between the rain!:clapping:

Jim I'm impressed. While I stayed home today because I was afraid I might get a little wet from the rain, the old turkey was out scratching around in the woods.

Be careful who you call an old turkey! He can scratch more then around in the woods. Had a big white dog come bounding towards me this morning and I'm not sure who got startled more, me or it. He/she apparently didn't see me until just a few yards away and it came to a screeching slide and the leaves just flew. It gave me one woof and took off looking for its master, I guess. Ya, mud, I dig a few of those 22 cases. They bounce around the $1. and $2 1/2 gold coin range. LOL Thanks guys. HH jim tn

Jim,

Is that silver not one of the prettiest sights you can ever see in moist black soil?
