But I got out at 5 am to dig in 70 degree weather, dug a bunch plus a cross and a bi-centennial half. Man, when I popped that cross up I thought I had the mother lode of silver. Not to be tho :( Steve in so az

Both the heat and humidity had made it rather miserable here in MO! Beautiful cross....sure looks like silver and rubies and Congrats on the goodies! Looks like God is still blessing you with the religious item finds! Ma Betty

And that is why I do not live in Tuscon. To hot for this northern gent.

Steve are you from Arizona? My Cousin lived there for 4 or 5 years and never got used to the heat.

Looks like 107 to me! :hot:
about 37 degrees hotter than I like!
Nice cross.

Hey Steve! 100 + anything is way too hot for me but I might be able to deal with it as long as high humidity doesn't come with it. Being an inventor of sorts, I've been trying to figure out how I can design a harness to hold the handle of a golf umbrella so I can hunt 'Out of The Sun', without hanging onto the umbrella Still working on it.

That is CRAZY! The only time I have ever felt 108 was in Death Valley. It has been 98-99 here (heat indices 105+) for over a week now. We've had no rain....it's just miserable. Let me also mention the 75% humidity. Ugh.

I BELIEVE IN ARIZONA the humility is about 35% and dry heat.here in texas it can be 93 degrees and humility 85%------100% this can kill you with sun stroke:hot::hot:it will sap you out like a french fry:rofl:older folks stay in until 7 pm then its nice.of course we live in the coastal part of texas.texas has 7 regions and all different-------the hill country is the best humility around 45% and cool.this state is like a country it can be in the 30's in the pan-handle and down here 75 degrees:biggrin:

Well, in MO they say if you don't like the weather just wait awhile it will change! But lately, it has been in the 90's with very high humidity and that folks make a person sweat and zaps their energy quickly, especially for this old gal! Used to work in the heat picking up rocks and cutting sprouts in fields on the farm but that was way back when......Ma could take it better! :crylol: May God Bless! Betty
