10k gold ring question

Salida

New member
A question: I found a nice 11 gram Masonic gold ring two nights ago
while metal detecting.

With Gold at $1750 per ounce and 10k being about 41.7% pure gold can anyone
give me an accurate figure how much this gold ring should cost? There are NO stones
in the ring. 11 grams is a good sized ring. My land lord wants to buy if from me but
I have NO idea what a fair price would be. AND the internet is giving me different figures
per gram.

Found some nice silver as well but nothing as nice as this goldie!

Thanks. I went to Eaby and Google trying to match it up. No luck.
I'd like to know what degree this ring represents. I had NO idea these Masonic
rings came in so many designs! Amazing!

Aloha just fill in the blanks and you will find out what your ring is worth.

The link to Dendritics is GREAT. Its the one I use all the time. If you take off the 2% that ARA takes you have 255.88 cents. HOWEVER, I would take my chance on the big auction site with a reserve. I got some big money a while ago for a Masonic ring. I am almost positive you can get over 300.00 for it and possibly over 400.

If you want to sell it I would ask no less than 300.00 for it. If its your landlord, he can take that off your rent.

Thanks for the information! Yea, I'm going to have it
put toward my rent. I have a tiny 10k kids ring with vary small
rubies too. It's about 1.4 grams. I'm going to throw that in as well
for is 12 year old grand daughter.

Take scrap value, multiply by 2 an see what he says.

Anything I have ever sold to some one that they wanted to keep, I always doubled scrap value. Brand new, she probably cost a lot more then the 200.

Nice finds.

Grams of Pure Gold: 4.5833 | Spot Gold Price: USD 56.51 / Gram | Sep 18, 2012 at 07:42 NY Time = $259.00 If I sell a ring, I normally double the scrape value or sell it for 50% of the new sale price of the ring, which ever is greater. If I cannot find the ring, I'll use a comparable one for pricing.
