10X12 SEF Coil and the V3

Has anyone tried a SEF 10x12 coil on the V3 yet? I just ordered one and was wondering if anyone has tried one yet. My buddy has one for his MXT and it really seems to be a deep hunter with this coil.

I have been using the 10X12 for 8 months now and have been very happy with it. Slightly heavier than the stock coil, but remember it is not 100% compatible with Boost. I have not done side by side comparison with the stock coil so I don't know if it is any deeper. I just switched back to the stock coil to give it a try.

While the 10X12 SEF coil is a bit heavier (not noticed until on the end of the rod) than the V3's stock 10" DD, I found it to work every bit as well, and maybe even a little better in some of the open areas I searched. All V3 functions that I can use with a 950 or 10" D2 could be used with the 10X12 SEF. Here, I can't use Tx Boost with any larger coil.

It's a rugged, good-performing coil, or at least has been since late last summer.
