I got out for a little over 6 hours Sunday afternoon with LabradorBob at a very old hammered fairgrounds using the 12x15 and got a good workout
I have discovered it is very deep and very sensitive to very small targets for a coil of it's size.Never found any silver but did find several early wheat's and a hand full of very early bullets at this river bottom site that floods several times a year most years.Pinpoints very well except on surface targets as would be expected of a large DD type coil.Runs very quiet and stable as well for it's size.Separation is almost spectacular given the size of the beast.Getting late so I will post some pics tomorrow and give more details on this hunt and a short hunt from last week & today that impressed me as well.
The more I use the 8x6 and 12x15 sef coils the more I am convinced that I should order a 12x10 and give it a try.As a matter of fact I think I will call JW in the morning and get one headed my way,Ray.
