Well, I managed to get out at the pounded park yesterday. Hunted from 6am until dark with a couple breaks in-between. Not much oldies to speak of for the day. Within the first 15 minutes I had a child's sterling ring. Went a few hours with just a few wheats and relics and managed to find the 43 Merc. The 41 Merc was found on the beaten path at only about 2 inches. Managed the sterling silver pencil top with part of the pencil still attached. I got that on live dig, but unfortunately none of the other silvers I did as live digs. They didn't sound like silver to begin with, sounded like broken up wheat signals. I rocked the 5x8 coil all day and the group shot of finds speaks for itself. Managed 9 wheats for the day, oldest was 1928-S. Eyeballed the sun glasses near a fishing spot. All in all, not a bad day. Feel free to watch the video if you got 8 minutes to spare. HH!
