13 hours at the pounded park

Well, I managed to get out at the pounded park yesterday. Hunted from 6am until dark with a couple breaks in-between. Not much oldies to speak of for the day. Within the first 15 minutes I had a child's sterling ring. Went a few hours with just a few wheats and relics and managed to find the 43 Merc. The 41 Merc was found on the beaten path at only about 2 inches. Managed the sterling silver pencil top with part of the pencil still attached. I got that on live dig, but unfortunately none of the other silvers I did as live digs. They didn't sound like silver to begin with, sounded like broken up wheat signals. I rocked the 5x8 coil all day and the group shot of finds speaks for itself. Managed 9 wheats for the day, oldest was 1928-S. Eyeballed the sun glasses near a fishing spot. All in all, not a bad day. Feel free to watch the video if you got 8 minutes to spare. HH!

Good job! Pretty good bunch of digs for a pounded park. You put in a solid day at it, too. Hats off to you. HH jim tn

Thanks Jim, yes the park is pounded to death, especially by me lol. Lately my plan of attack has been trashy over-worked areas with the 5x8 coil. Most of my keepers are found with or near other junk targets, including nails. Bits of iron litters the entire park. I listen to it all too, it sounds like an intense pinball game going on in my headphones :stars:

Oh yes !, a pinball machine in my head ... I know what it is, you can not pose the detector to dig, he (the ATPRO) continues his extra ball ... I do not usually put up more than 10 minutes and go elsewhere.
