13th Hunt for 2010... Buckle, Silver, Indian, Relics...

I headed north to the Boston area to hunt to Mr. Dan... We had a great day of it... food, chat, shared finds... swung the coils... pulled up some goodies

My finds for the day:



Dan can tell you... this read 01/49 01/50 @ 4" but was a good 11" deep...



This find sang like a silver quarter @ 6"... ANy thought on what it is, or from ??





This IH came out of the ground in great shape!



I had 10 wheats, 1 indian head, and this older Canadian Penny...

Nice finds Paul. The item in question is a Military Unit Desigination Insignia. Usually worn on the Cap while wearing the Work Uniform known as BDU basic duty uniform. Also worn on the Epillets (spelling) of the Dress Uniform. Hope this helps.
