14" Excelerator Coil

alton

New member
The last few years I have seen many different comments about this coil, mainly positive ones. I ordered it yesterday.

For those that use it I was wanting your opinions on depth. The add at Kellyco claims that sometimes the depth is doubled. I don't know if I'm a believer about that. I do think perhaps enough to justify purchasing it.

What has been your experience with this coil. Has anyone used it in the mineralized soil of East Tennessee?

TIA
Alton

My experience with the 14" is-
Better coverage in field hunting and a small increase in depth. This may be because of the areas that I hunt and you may experience more depth than I. Also I feel the coil gives you a limited amount of quality usage because of its size. Trash ETC.
I found that the stock coil (for a sizable coil) is the best choice.
It was designed for the machine and tweaked to produce the most efficiency as a unit. Smaller coils have there place also.

Do they think we are all that dumb, I mean I'd still buy their coils with out all the BS, so what's it's purpose??

I have a 14" from Kellyco and on the beaches in Sarasota, Fl. I have dug dimes and pennies at 20" I give up when its deeper (must be a can).
