Thanks a lot everyone, for the responce on the bigger coil thing. These responses are very interesting because one of the responses talks about not using the coil cover, which I heard would never deture the depth or effectiveness of hunting, but again, I don't know for sure. Any feelings on the coil cover deal.??? But getting back to the larger coil, I never thought that you might get some falsing. Hmmm!!!! That could be a bummer, but again Mike say's the larger coils are pretty good. My main thought is that I live near a few beaches that I know had people on them in the 20's and even the late 1800's, because I saw pictures of them, but again, would there be old coins that deep, and again could I have some falsing. The other reason I would like to get the bigger coil is the whole idea of being able to cover more ground more quickly, as we have a whole lot of beaches here in California, and quite a few, right here in San Diego. Well..., I can't quite afford one yet anyway, but I just figured I'd do some research, and what better place than to talk to the guy who own's one and also I need to consider the different maker's, like WOK and sunray, or whatever. Thanks again, and good hunting. Marc, (the wanna be beach bum). I'm not an official beach bum till I either retire or lose my job,,,, I'd rather retire.
