went in to work yesterday at 8 am - finally got home about quarter to midnight. I can't remember all that went on but know that it is a headache to reprogram ALL the locks in the hotel. The card maker machine died and had to use a different one. Using it meant all the locks for all the rooms had to be changed within 24 hours. Took 3 of us most of the afternoon and evening to get it done...and then it snowed while we were doing that. 4 inches fell and had to be shovelled by hand....my snow blower was still at home along with the gas can full of gas so couldn't use the hotel snow blower which I am told once again works but had no gas.
Now 3;30 am and I am awake - carpal tunnel in my hands have awaken me to burning in my hands with intense burning sensations in one or the other hand or both for many nights in a row. I have some meds for it but doesn't do much good when they are home and I am not home. Will make for a nice paycheck. Still have to renew my drivers license that expired on my birthday whenever I can get to the license bureau.
We are trying to get all the rooms ready for Tip Up Town (annual ice fishing event) here at Houghton Lake which is the 2 last weekends of the month and all the hotels get swamped with guests.
Oh well hope and pray all have a great day.
