i noticed when i fliping through kellyco when i see new factory 15" coils for the t-2 and f-75 has anyone had the chance to try one out? and the only coils they did'nt have were the sef coil for the omega/gamma/delta which i thought was odd but maybe they have'nt just come in yet?

Went on the internet and punched in a search, teknetic T-2 15'' coil and one of the web sites has a air test between the stock 11'' and the new 15'' coil. Tom

well how about that there pretty pricey going for 249.00 i think? did'nt relize the april 1st hopefully won't be a april fools joke!

Go to search on your computer and search, teknetic T-2 15'' coil, when results show look for www.treasuredownunder.com. Info is on there front page.

Wow is right Steve, what if the G2 or gold bug could do that.

that sort of performance increase is more along the lines of what a new top of the line detector will bring and that coil is a lot cheaper than a new detector and most will already know their T-2's/F-75's so the learning curve will be almost non-existent.

I cant find the review , what did it say.

Yes it is heavy but since all the First Texas machines are light ,when coupled together
is still weights less than the big boy M/Ls and you can always go back to stock feather weight.:poke:

I found it . Found home page then click on T2 coil.

With T2 @ 60 All Metal it showed gains of 3 to 6 inches on coins from nickels to
Liberty half dollars. Yikes :goodnight:

increased coverage, and great for farm fields!..i'll bet!

I'm thinking that coil is going to work best with the F-75 LTD/SE or T2 LTD/SE in the bp or cl modes----OR the F-70 in the sl mode.--------Let's just HOPE that FT comes out with a coil similar to this one designed for the GBSE/G2.-----Seems like the problem here (to get optimal performance) is going to be the fast response speed with the last two mentioned detectors (for that size coil), as they don't have the modes of the F-75/70 or T2.------I HOPE I'm wrong & FT does come out with a top performing larger (and deeper seeking) coil for the GBSE/G2---I know JUST the area(s) I would LOVE to use it in! ;)---------Del

Del i agree with you and i think Dave J said the same.

The review seems to be using a standard T2 .
Have to wait and see. Lots or coin for a no go.

On the other hand i have a LTD so if i do land one
you can bet i will slap it on my GB for a spin.:bouncy:

It's interesting that they tested it in all metal mode, I don't know how many people routinely hunt in AM.

It's going to fun to see how the results with this coil unfold - how about hunting in static all metal mode? Better yet, how about hunting in static all mode with the boost process enabled

I'm mostly interested to see how it hunts in disc mode with the boost process enabled, but I can imagine some unreal depths in the AM mode variants.

Looking forward to testing this bad boy out!

Brian
