The 17" coil is no longer available. My favorite dealer has worked out a deal for me to get the 6" DD that I want. Bart's Big Boys Hobbies is the ONLY way to go for a great metal detector deal or accessories!!!

Gosh, I really doubt it. My guess is that we are incorrectly translating what Roland was saying. I am sure Bart or Digger will chime in and clear things up

Roland had one for sale at the time and was simply stating that his was no longer available.

When I was shopping for my 6" coil, they were not available either. Only because demand was higher than supply at the time.
Eventually supply caught up and I got mine. I would hope this is the same thing that is going on with the 17" coil.

Didn't Minelab just recently run a special that provided a 17" coil with the purchase of a new CTX. Maybe this was a huge enough success for Minelab that their stock pile of 17" coils was depleated.

Wait and see.

Just take your stock coil then duck tape you 6 inch on the side. Wire them both together Booom 17 inch coil... O and this was a joke

I wouldn't be too concerned. I just opened my birthday present yesterday and it was a 17" coil. If my wife can find one online, anyone can....

I would be shocked to here it is no longer available. I enjoy mine and it certain circumstances it rules! (with the Pro swing, as that sucker is big!)
