1715 FLEET BEACHES, NO GOLD, BUT.......:clapping:

TNBob: You can search the beaches down to the low tide line. My understanding is that past that point is considered to be part of the state leases. You also have to stay off of the dunes. We went to a state park south of Vero Beach and the ranger there wasn't very helpful. She said we could only search between the high tide line and the low tide line. I don't know where that came from. The rangers at the McLarty museum were very helpful and encouraging. They said that many of the locals who find silver or gold are very secretive and don't tell anybody about their finds. :ninja: I was so excited that I couldn't keep my big mouth shut. :yo:

Good luck on your hunt.
